Who we are
Rooted Bharat is a brand of Bullsline Holding Private Limited ("we"), an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-270728). This policy covers rootedbharat.com and the ways you contact us: WhatsApp, phone, the Ask Rohit form and the grievance form on this site, and enquiry forms on Facebook and Instagram ads.
Last updated 25 October 2026.
What we collect
- When you enquire: your name, where you live, your WhatsApp number, your email if you choose to give it, and anything you choose to tell us, whether through the Ask Rohit form on this site (see below), on WhatsApp, a call, or a Facebook or Instagram enquiry form.
- When you invest through us: the KYC and transaction details that fund houses, managers, their registrars and KYC registration agencies require.
- This website, by default: the country you pick, stored in your own browser (local storage) and kept there. The form sends only the country you choose in it.
- Analytics: This site runs no analytics or ad trackers today. If we add anonymous analytics later, it will run only after you accept, and never before. Accept and Reject are offered equal weight.
The Ask Rohit form
Pages on this site carry a short form for sending Rohit a question. It asks for your question, your name, your phone number (country code and number), the country you live in, and your email if you choose to give it. It also records the address of the page you asked from, so the reply can start from what you were reading.
Why: to answer your question on WhatsApp (or by email, if you gave one), and to set up a call with Rohit if it needs a longer conversation. We use these details to answer your question and to stay in touch about it.
Where it goes: our website host passes the form straight to our own intake service. The service keeps a copy of each submission as it arrived and adds your question to our customer records, where the team reads it and replies. A second question from the same number joins the first. The website itself keeps nothing. Your question is used to answer you and to stay in touch about it, and it is never passed to any advertising platform.
Your IP address goes to the intake service for one check: how many questions one connection sends in an hour, which keeps out automated spam. The service holds it in memory for that check only and never writes it down.
How long we keep it: We keep what you send through this form for 12 months, then delete it automatically. Submissions we reject as spam or incomplete are deleted after 30 days. Your question, name, number, country, your email if you gave one, and the page you asked from also go into our customer records, which follow the general rule under "How long we keep it" below.
Deleting it: to have your question and details deleted, ask in the Ask Rohit box on the contact page, or tell the grievance officer. Some records must be kept by law even after you ask us to delete them.
The grievance form
The grievance page carries a form for raising a complaint. It asks for your complaint, your name, your mobile number (country code and number), and your email if you choose to give it. It also records the address of the page you sent it from.
Why: to handle your complaint and to stay in touch about it, on the number you gave (or by email, if you gave one). We use these details to handle your complaint and to stay in touch about it.
Where it goes: our website host passes the form straight to our own intake service. The service keeps a copy of each complaint as it arrived and adds it to our grievance inbox, which the team reads. A complaint is not added to our sales enquiries or customer records. Your complaint is never passed to any advertising platform. The website itself keeps nothing.

How we use it
To reply to you, to provide distribution services for the products you ask about, to service investments and policies you hold through us, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Who we share it with
- Fund houses, portfolio managers, AIF managers and IFSC funds, their registrars, KYC registration agencies and transaction platforms, when needed to process something you ask us to do.
- Service providers that carry our messages, email and website forms, such as WhatsApp (Meta), our email provider and our website host.
- Regulators and authorities, when the law requires it.
- Meta ad enquiries: if you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram ad form, we may tell Meta how your enquiry progressed (for example, that we contacted you or that you replied). We identify the enquiry only by the lead ID Meta itself created; your name, contact details and investment details stay with us.
Personal information is never sold.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for any longer period the law or our regulators require.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to stop contacting you, or to stop sharing your enquiry progress with Meta. Ask in the Ask Rohit box on the contact page, or tell the grievance officer, and we will respond. Some records must be kept by law even after you ask us to delete them. Our grievance officer under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act is Ravi Agarwal, Director; you can reach the officer through the grievance page.
Children
Our services and enquiry forms are meant for adults. Information about a child is collected only where a parent or guardian invests on a minor's behalf, and a minor's information is never shared with advertising platforms.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and show the new effective date above.
